This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i think you should also consider if you want to use it while moving around/traveling , the usb will be a pain.

    I own a Express card and its good but it lacks on VISTAAAAA.

    Vista does not support DiretcSound so everything is done via software and not hardware as it is in XP.

    Tell us what are you going to do with the sound card, are you going to listen music, movies,games etc.

    Go for Express.

    If you what to have 5.1 or 7.1 surround system you have to buy a Docking station separately.
