I have a machine with the quadro version of your GPU, but there are not many out in the wild yet. its an 8800gts, so what clocks do you use for gaming?
I used 660/980 for a 3dmark6 run but use 625/950 for a safe overclock
And what temperatures do you see. We see ~64deg C running in windows and I get 91deg C when gaming.
Anyone with an x7900 too? I see 60s for CPU temp too. Using HWmonitor for temps
thanks for the help

clocks listed below...
but what are your 3dmark06 scores with them cards??? -
I'm pretty sure the FX3600 is the workstation version of the 8800M GTX, not 8800M GTS.
-
yes..was just looking at them cards....96 unified shaders....
-
Also 91 deg is pretty high, you might want to look at getting a cooler if you aren't using one. It's not burning up yet, but 91 degs is not a level you want your GPU to be constantly hovering around.

This card is a very strong overclocker I just backed off the clocks to be on the safe side as I was seeing some texture flashes in stalker with 660/980
91deg is not an issue. My old 7800gtx ran higher. The thermal throttle is >100deg C
cheers -
Yes, I am aware that 91 deg is still in the safe zone, just brought it up as some users don't like it hovering around those temperatures.
That's very interesting. I was under the impression that the FX3600 was a GTX based card. Thanks for the update. -
642/942/1286 -
The CPU is not overclockable in the M6300 which is a bummer. I'm still working on what clocks I'll use 24/7 and then I'll rerun 3dmark for that. These runs are not for gaming settings since I saw texture flashes - thats actually why I was polling this board since the cards are basically the same. I run vista64 and ATI tool does not work in this operating system
The gateway is a great laptop, actually almost bought one, but like the precisions for work use
