Recently my S key fell off my laptop and I was wondering where the best place to get it repaired is? BestBuy said it would take 2 wks and cost about 120 dollars. Is this normal? Thanks for your help!

    Is your laptop under warranty?

You also may want to call the manufacturer to see if you can send it to them directly OR if its possible for them to send you they required item since its just a key.

Sending your laptop somewhere to get a key on the keyboard fixed is completely unneccesary. 2 weeks and $120 is even more bogus. Best Buy will do anything in their power to get money out of your wallet.

If you still have the key, you can fix it yourself.

If you don't have the key, you should order a new one and fix it yourself.

Could you describe how the key "fell" off? You might just need to clip it back on... and that is def not worth $120

For less than 120 you could buy a new keyboard. That is a crazy amount they want to replace a key
