Let me tell you some back story
About 10 month ago i purchased a Gateway MT6705 from bestbuy for a respectable price since i was about to start college and thought i could use it for that. About a month ago i had to send it in under warranty since the power jack came loose and they told me that they had to replace the motherboard with it..not a problem. One and a half weeks later i received my new repaired laptop but even though it would charge, it would not turn on now. Still being cool about it I call again and they apologize and send me a new box to send it in again (me thinking that they just forgot to reconnect a cable). Five days later I receive my laptop today and now it will charge but still won't turn on..however the power supply will randomly start the fan and then die again.
Any suggestions of what i should to tomorrow? Should i try and just ask for a new, maybe even upgraded, replacement model? I am kinda very upset with them especially since it was such a minor problem

is this amd or intel?
im thinking maybe your cpu.... -
intel by now i basically just want them to send me a fresh laptop..
-
yep, pretty much so....
-
interesting part is that it will randomly give power to everything and the screen will actually turn on letting the laptop boot up (if it's lucky enough to get power for long enough)
-
ok, get it to turn on again and this time just boot to bios and leave it... see how long it will stay on.
-
well i called in again and besides sending me another box they won't do anything else
Wow! MT6705 repair failed twice! What should i do?
