What steps do I need to take if I want to do a clean install of Win7 on my 7805u? Will Win7 detect almost everything for me, or will I run into a lot of laptop-specific compatibility issues?

    Thanks!

Other than the O2 Media Card mentioned above, Win 7 will detect everything else that I can tell so far.

You will need to run the Windows Update to get all of the correct drivers. When it first boots, for example, it will only treat the video card as a "standard VGA" until you've downloaded the drivers through Windows Update.

Oh, after it first boots, you probably need to give the system some time to "diagnose" itself and then determine the drivers it needs. I just let it set after the initial boot for about 30 minutes and then looked at the updates that it determined was needed and installed them.
