Thank you valuxin (also .NetRolller 3D and ergoon). Do you know where I can find or look for bios to the laptop NTT Corrino W 690SR (some say it has same motherboard as Compal FL90)?

    Hmm I have add suport for ati 4650 (ATI Radeon Mobility HD4650 M96 DDR3 1G - ATI 216-0729042 KSKAE - Codename: M96 f rom SATELLITE L505-12Q - hynix memory - closer look here - http://allegro.pl/ati-radeon-mobility-hd4650-mxm-ii-1gb-ddr3-i6141775193.html) I have downloaded this bios - http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20100629135948.zip extract ATI M96 rom file, replace G86 rom (Geforce 8600), in this bios - http://compal.net.pl/download/fl90/fl90misc/compal118.rar
so the final bios look like this: - http://www.filedropper.com/jfl92118

but it's not working. My laptop doesn't start from USB and don't load the bios OR my new graphic card is broken too OR bios is simply wrong. @ valuxin can take a look at this bios to check compatibility?

Heh I guess the card I have ordered is broken, I will try one more time. Does any of you have experience with romles ATI Mobility HD 3650 256 DDR3? I mean any successful video BIOS integration into the motheboard's system BIOS?

I have ordered card with ROM and everything is working fine, but it;s DDR2 so I want replace it with DDR3 romless.

Now when I still have this working DDR2 card I play with crisis disc to run it later without problem and I have question - is there any creen when you are running crisisc disc? Cause my screen is black all the time (on working card too).

Currently I'm on vacation, so I can't do the mod myself. But everything clearly described in my guide. As said in the guide, you need to use either ROM or WPH or BIN sBIOS image file (preferably WPH).

Hi Valuxin, thanks for your guide.

    I want to integrate a Firepro M4000 vbios in an Acer 7738g kizwan's modified/unlocked bios 1.13...

I have only a doubt, in your collection of vbios i see two M4000 bioses, which one i have to chose?

    AMD FirePro M4000 1Gb GDDR5 - ver. 015.024.000.002.044320 - HP (IEC)
    AMD FirePro M4000 1Gb GDDR5 - ver. 015.024.000.002.044321 - HP (Foxconn)

    Thanks in advance,
    Alby

Hm... I have some questions - after integration do you hear the POST beeps during the boot? If so - the problem is the laptop can't find the vBIOS in oprom section or this video board is not M4000. If there is no POST beeps - try to connect something over HDMI and see what would happen. Also, make sure the MXM connector on the mobo and video board are clean from dust and other organic thing.

Hi Valuxin, thanks for your answer and sorry for the delay in mine... anyway, here we go:
    - no beeps during post, only the fan spinning once and then black screen.. I tried to reinstall the old gpu, gt130m with integrated vbios, and the laptop starts normally (even with the bios with integrated vbios of course)
    - nothing is seen over HDMI connected monitor
    - the mxm connector is clean (all my mobo and other parts are very clean :D :D i dismount the pc ofter to remove dust from fan etc etc)

I attach some images of my firepro m4000.

Let me know if this is not an m4000

    Thanks!

Hi, I'm having similar issues to those listed in this thread, but so far have not had any luck getting any of what is in here to work for me.

(Please note, while I am no IT expert I can grasp most instructions but do need help in knowing where to look for things such as BIOS or ROM files on my computer)

I have an Acer Aspire 8935G, that was suffering from a BSoD issue due to the graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 4670) I have replaced this with a HD 6770m, as I found this was a suitable replacement/upgrade. However I cannot get it to work. I have uninstalled the device and rebooted, I've located probably a half dozen device and driver installers but these have all failed to yield any results.

I'm now stuck with the onboard graphics leaving my screen at a funny resolution for this laptop and the HD 6770m is showing as 'Standard VGA Graphics Adapter'. Can someone please help me here I'm close to ripping my hair out over this.

I can't believe something as simple as switching out a graphics card could cause so much grief!
