    Why? DDR2 is noticeably slower than their DDR3 counterparts. A 4650 with 256mb of DDR3 would still smash the DDR2 to bits in performance.

    Cause there might not be a HD 4650 DDR3.

    Exactly, that AND I'm an impulsive, impatient person who loves to waste money. :)

    Also, I wan't to max this laptop out so I can get further 3dmark06' records!

    I've amazed some people by pumping 5.234 K Score out of a 9500M gs, Lets see how my 4650 will do ;)

    I will say 6500-800 ought to be achievable :) Only the 9650M GT and GT130M DDR3 cards could compete properly with it. If there is a DDR3 4650 it would destroy everything in the mxm 2 range. I think the DDR2 9650M GT can get around 6000 points max overclocked.

    I hope I did a good thing buying this baby because I'm affraid of finding another ddr3 version for sale soon :/
