You're spelling it wrong: it's DURACRAP.

All it does is throttle performance that you thought you were paying to get.

    JUNK.

I've never installed any of my Acronis True Image versions into Windows; I've only booted the CD discs in order to do clones; I've never done an image.

Do you have to install Acronis True Image into Windows for that utility ("to create a bootable flash drive") to show up?

Did you get the M500 "1024GB" 2.5" SSD that you pre-ordered?

If yes, how do you like it? Kindly post your comments in the new M500 thread. :)

Dude, the price is still $600 for the 960GB its just that they are outsold everywhere, so the Ebay sellers use the opportunity to make a few hundred bucks. Same for the unknown sellers from Amazon you link to. Scammers.

    Newegg.com - Crucial M500 960GB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal Solid State Drive CT960M500SSD1

I haven`t preodered it. I`m still in love with my Samsung 840 Pro :D

Doesn't matter, If you want one, it's still gonna cost you a ridiculous amount. Prices would remain $800+ for several months, if not longer until Crucial was able to push enough in the chain to flood the pipeline. Until they do, leechers will buy up anything they can and net $200+ for each drive they buy. My best guess is August at earliest before you're able to find them easily and buy them for the $600 retail price.

It was sold out there first day, still is.

They were available first day now no longer available unless you pay a premium to the price gougers. You'll have to wait a few months.

I'm surprised that they pretty much do not allow you to "pre" order this product on their website. Would have been nice if they put some sort of ETA up but I guess not even they know how long it will take for them to catch up.

I called this a while back. It's inevitable. I hate releases like this. It just makes people angry. They're better off ramping up tons of product than just coming up with one day's supply and throwing it out to the masses.

    @saturnotaku got his 960GB 2.5" M500 just 21 days ago.

I note that the 480GB 2.5" M500 are now being sold by Amazon at $381 (which is already below the $400 list price), and there's a 3rd party seller in Southern California with them for $330. I expect Amazon's price to drop below $350 in the next few weeks.

Kindly give us all a break and quit yer bellyaching! :)

It can happen, but i been tracking the Samsung 840pro 256gb for months now, and while it did reach $210 (on newegg sale), it been going up lately, not sure why, i thought the M500 would have streer down its price... but seems oposite, now they are back to $240. Hope the crucial goes down in price soon.

Title of thread is 960GB not the smaller versions. Show me where I can buy a 960GB for list price of $599 or less, and have it IN STOCK ... Then I'll quit bellyaching.

Saturnotaku got his 960GB on first and only day of availability.
