They are not the same dimensions. Here is an MSI RTX 2070:

redoing all the products, and moved to IIS and apache both and switched from an older Ubuntu to Windows server 2k16 and updating the modules on the site, to support out forums and front end as well.

So little work in progress. Still mostly people come to us directly still, as always.

I'm interested in an Mxm 3 type A Nvidia P2000 video card. @woodzstack and others that might be able to offer - please do. I see you can purchase P1000 directly from HP for around $500, but there is no P2000 available for sale. I don't care if its previously owned stripped from somewhere card.

yeah they are around, we don't sell very many either ever, send me a PM/start a private conversation and I might be able to get you a quote from some of us here. I don't hold them in stock personally, not enough demand for them.

Idk why MSI Even is bothering with MXM Laptops if they are just gonna change the design every year and have different design on different cards so they aren't even interchangeable without specific systems and heatsink upgrades (eg MSI 1070 And MSI 1080)

@sicily428 Those links do us no good. You cannot purchase those cards from this company as an individual, you have to be a PC manufacturer with contract pre-approved from Nvidia side. I've contacted them 6 months ago and they cut me off with this "explanation"

P.S. I'm yet to see a P1000/P2000 MXM 3 Type A video card for actual sale. The HP Zbook 15 G5 workstations no longer come with MXM cards, the video is integrated in the motherboard, and the DELL Workstations come with their proprietary standard (see attachment). So unless next generations mobile workstations decide to revisit the decision to ditch MXM 3 Type A, I think the era of upgrading 15 inch laptop video cards has come to an end. Sadly :( 17 inch laptops still come with MXM 3 Type B cards, so for anyone using those big guns, the adventure continues.
