    We have P3200, P4200 and P5200 available in our Tornado F7 Mobile Workstation GPU and CPU upgradeable laptop. We are planning to support them in other of our high end models. BTW i9 9900K and i7 9700K are coming soon to our Sky "C" series.

    The blue PCB 1070 is ~$550 off Taobao, the black PCB 1070 seems to be similar priced off ebay

    Me neither, I want to get my hands and the black and blue PCB'd 1070's and compare them, I'd assume the black one would be between the green (Eurocom) and the blue one, with the MSI taking the cake

    I asked the sellers where the cards are from. They seem to have a dell PN sticker which is very interesting. I was thinking of going quadro p4200 but if that card is a dell card I might just get the 1070

    i hear ya! although the P4200 is still very enticing due to it packing more gpu cores and no need to modify the heatsink in my case, just PnP :). if only we could source the P5200, now that would be a treat! 1080 in standard mxm 3.0b :p :D

    Hello !

    Did anyone test a gecube gtx1050 in a m4800 with QHD screen? It should not be far from a p2000 performance wise.

    I'm just wondering about compatibility, apparently I will lose the Vga but otherwise should be good no? It's not a dell model so it should start properly from what I read here. What about the bios? It's harder to flash than on Optimus laptops.

    The 1050 Ti has a higher tdp than my original k2100m so I would rather use the 1050. Price wise it looks OK from the previous links 2000¥.

    MxM has value outside of upgrades to the ODM. This way, the ODM only has one type of motherboard per model and can place in the proper GPU at time of purchase.

    For example if nvidia GPU 20* RTX was BGA, you would have to have motherboards for 2060 RTX, motherboards for 2070 RTX, motherboards for 2080 RTX, etc. That would be a lot of mobo's ODMs may be forced to have in stock.
