47.046 (32M) and 1493.843 (1024M) on my iMac (T2400, XP Pro SP2), which gets a Great rating compared to other T2400s.
94.922 (32M) and 3026.937 (1024M) on my Sony VAIO FJ270 (PenM 750, XP Home SP2), which is also gets a Great rating compared to other PenM 750s.
Originally, I had Normal for the iMac and Very Poor for the FJ, so the tweaking netted some pretty good improvement.

We should make an NBR team for HWbot for this...Anyone else agree?

I haven't run on my laptop (only single core), but I did run it on my desktop. Here are the results. Specs of system are in my sig. I ran this with XP SP2.

I had a virus scanner going on in the background so these will probably get lower. I'll run it again later an repost.

Well, I'm on the road and I don't have my D620 with me, but I did run it on my ultraportable, here's the results:
    Latitude D400, Intel Pentium M @1700MHz, speed: 1694MHz, L2 cache: 1024KB.
    32M: 107.453secs.

I haven't run the stress test yet, I'll do it tonight as I anticipate it taking several hours at least :(

I only ran the 32M because I'm pressed for time right now. I'll run the other test later.
    Proc: T7200
    Time: 43.259 sec
    OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit

Full laptop specs in sig. For some reason the first core was always a little bit faster than the second.

Yea, I noticed that too, especially on the 1024M test. Thread 1 was always 2 or 3% ahead of Thread 2. Is that supposed to happen, or do I not have my cpu optimized properly?

I ran the first bench again with the updated version of the program and the second bench too.
@ Vivek: Yea, it was more noticable when I ran the longer benchmark. In mine the first core was 1% ahead of the second.

So some nice improvements there. Getting closer to Chazman's score! :D

Whooo, my T5500 is bringing up the rear there! I wonder why it's so slow compared to the other T5500 laptops. I'm going to try and tinker with some settings and close some programs/processes to see if I can squeeze alittle more out of it.

Yes, I found that closing all programs and processes that weren't absolutely necessary to keeping the system running helps decrease times by a lot. On my laptop, I started at 3145s, and have now gone down to 2977s (1024M). Its less pronounced on the 32M benchmark though, only a few seconds (96 to 93). These tweaks might work better for dual cores though, I haven't tested them on my iMac yet.

WOW. Thats is definitely an amazing score for a AMD Turion X2.

You must have totally optimized your system to crank out such a score... or Vista might have helped out with that.

Thanks. I didn't do much to help it. I turned off virus protection, switched off Wifi, closed Sidebar, and went from Windows Aero to Windows Classic. I didn't really turn off any services or background processes. I can't think of anything else I might have done to get it down.

I am still amazed by the huge score gap between your TL-60 and next notebook with TL-60.

I guess turning everything to Basic and losing the widgets/sidebars would give a gain in performance... but WOW. :)

I'd be interested to see if your time matched or beat mine once you upgraded. If you upgraded, would you be doing a clean install or an upgrade? It'd be interesting to see if it makes a significant difference.

LOL. yeah your score looks like its going to be at the rear of the 1.66GHz Core (2) Duo's.

You can run it again to get a better score.

Try turning off (just for the test):
    - System Restore
    - Anti Virus
    - switch to Classic Mode

Vista is mainly bogging down RAM, and if you have a single core, then you would notice the CPU performance difference from XP.

Yay first Santa Rosa score posted.

    Nice. :)

    It can be better.

    To optimize your score:
    - disable resource hogs (System Restore, Antivirus, etc..)
    - switch Theme to Classic

Thats strange, try using the console version, rather than the HWBOT Gui

Heero, I think you can get a better score, since I am comparing your score with other scores with the same CPU.

    To optimize your score:
    - disable resource hogs (System Restore, Antivirus, etc..)
    - switch Theme to Classic

In any case, nice scores. :)
