For my AVERATEC: 2:16 on both battery and AC, with only AVG running in the background. So apparently it's only the graphics card that is truly craptastic in this thing.

I ran superpi on 3 of my systems for analysis.
    Toshiba Satellite A75-S211
    P4 3.2 GHz, 512 mb, 80gig with AC 1m57s
with battery and cpu max 2m2s
with battery and cpu min 2m56s

    Dell Dimension 8400
P4 3.2 GHZ (with HT, like it matters) 1gig ram, 367gig HD
    1m36s

    Homebuilt as-of-now POS
    1.7 GHz P4 ,640 ram, 80 gig
an unbelievable 6m12s which for some reason doesn't seem right.

    Good test for comparison thx.

Calculating 2M on my new LG LW60 on AC power took 1'44

Then adding another 512MB DDR2 RAM to take advantage of the dual-channel RAM capabilities took just 1'38 !

Very nice notebook - feels better built than the Sonys with a better keyboard than the Toshibas - lots of cool multimedia features even though I bought it as my work web development PC :)

Here's the spec of the LG LW60:
    1.73 GHz Pentium M Sonoma
    1GB DDR2 522MHz RAM (dual-channel)
    60GB HD
ATI Mobility X600 with 64MB RAM
1280 x 800 15.4" LCD (much nicer than the HP and Toshiba ones, only Sony ones looked brighter)

I was interest when I saw this thread, so I thought I'd see what this thing could do or disappoint me. So here it is.........
Hp Pavilion ZV6000cto, Had only 1 week so far!
    1X512 ram
    100 gig 4200 HD
    ATI 128 200M graphics card
    bright screen
    wi-fi with blue tooth running
    12 cell battery

    1 minutes 50 seconds on A.C. power
2 minutes exactly on battery power
Probably could have been somewhat better if I had shut down some applications.
    I think I'm satisfied with these results [ :)]
