I would replace my recently purchased Seagate Hybrid drive with the ssd, and move the seagate to my secondary drive, then I would invest in another seagate hybrid to use in the USB combo and make my way to having more storage space than I could comfortably shake a stick at...!!!![]()

I'd use it as a backup storage drive.
-
I would put it in my grandma's laptop for she has a very slow computer and she could really use it to access pictures and important documents on her per-historic laptop.
-
I've never used an SSD before, but here is what I think I'd do with it:
First I'd put the SSD in the drive enclosure, connected it to my current m50vm, and backup my files. Like most people I don't backup my files like I should. If my computer were to suffer catastrophic failure right now I'd loose my bookmarks, e-mail, contacts, rss feeds, and all the files I've either created or downloaded since I bought my m50vm nearly 4 years ago. My computer freezes on an almost daily basis (sometimes while browsing the net, sometimes while watching a video, and on rare occasions during a game), so I figure its only a matter of time until one of these times it doesn't come back on intact. I'm planning on purchasing a NP9150, so the next thing I'd do with the drive is install it in the 9150 (which has a spot for an SSD drive, but I don't plan to purchase with the system). Then I'd configure the system to run the OS and Intel Rapid Technology on the SSD drive (since I've read those are pretty impressive features of SSD drives). After that who knows... -

Well, wait. If I did use it in a specific notebook for Scratch Disk use; I would use the mSATA to USB 3.0 combo kit to install a second mSATA drive (of at least 256GB capacity) to use as a 'History File' location for all my Win8x64 notebooks.
Actually if I don't win, I'll do this anyway.
Thanks for the chance at this great prize.
Good luck to one and all. -
The combo kit?!? Definately will make a giveaway here, help somebody else.Sharing is great!!! -
How would you use the MyDigitalSSD BP3 256GB mSATA SSD and mSATA to USB 3.0 Combo Kit?
My other laptop doesn't have any storage media in it, so this SSD will go to it. I'll do a clean install of Windows 7 on it and load up the usual programs and softwares my family uses. I'll most likely have to buy an adapter or something like it so the mSATA can fit safe and secure in the laptop. Then that laptop will become my new family computer. My family computer is old, it's from 2003 and it's having trouble keeping up with our normal but somewhat demanding tasks. -
I would use this SSD and enclosure to make ultra-reliable external backups for my white MacBook. It would be my "Time Machine".
-
It would be a tough choice between swapping the MyDigitalSSD BP3 256GB mSATA SSD into my daugther's new MacBook Pro replacing the internal 750 GB HDD or into my wife's HP laptop replacing the 256GB HDD. The mSATA to USB 3.0 Enclosure can house an old 128GB SSD that came out of my wife's previous laptop after it died. And then I ask Santa for another MyDigitalSSD BP3 256GB mSATA SSD!
