This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Overclocking extreme CPU without BIOS options?

    I agree. A lot of the information on the rebelshaven is (I think) for people who have a solid background on reverse engineering or bios programming and/or editing. In addition most of their work is around award bios while a considerable number of laptops are sold with Phoenix and Ami Bios(es), and this without including EFI

    Yeah they seem to like desktop award bios machines. I'd pay cash to get this thing an unlocked multi. You need to honor svets hard work and go get a qx

    Either way I will pin mod the PLL that we have in our notebooks (ICS9LPRS113), I'll try to take some pics if anyone else want to try it.

    I'm just waiting for my GPU to come.

    This has probably been mentioned somewhere in this thread, but I feel that I should mention it just in case. Use a program called Throttlestop. The user named 'Unclewebb' on these forums made the program and is able to modify that register.
    With Penryn chips, it is supposedly able to modify both voltage and multiplier values, regardless of what the BIOS supports. You need an extreme chip of course.
