Mine is 4.5 but will become 5.1 when I get my processor upgrade.

my new lappy gets 5.1 (is that good for this system? wish I had the 8800 then I'd get higher) anyway my desktop (1 1/2 yrs old) manages 5.4 nice to see I'm towards the top though it seems many of us are.

Nice config by the way.

This is off topic, but how do you guys post pictures without using a URL or adding it as an attachment?

Hmm, I'm still having trouble. I'm trying to post a pic from my drive, not from a URL.

I always thought the 4.3 for the Mobility Radeon X1600 was a tad low -

I have 4gb (3.2gb usable) of ddr2 ram oc to 900mhz, which gets a score of 5.3. If i upgraded to 64 bit vista, to what extent would my score improve due to the increase of 1gb in usable ram? If instead i decided to oc my ram further, at what speed dyou think i would need to go up to to get 5.7-5.9? My ram has 6-6-6-6-12 timings at the moment, i might try reducing it a little in the bios.

At the moment it says 3,5 for me on the NVidia 8400GS - but I use the Intel all the time - I think that gives 3,1 (kept the score since recovery on my SZ)
I.e. I voted 3.
But:
Processor: 5,4
RAM: 5,0
Graphics (desktop & Aero) 3,5 for NVidia - 3,1 or 3,0 X3100
Graphics (games) 4,5 NVidia - 3,2 or 3,0 for X3100
HDD 5,1
So its graphics "letting me down" although its not as I don't really need it.
(I don't game, maybe Photoshop Elements 6 would profit from a more powerful grpahics card, but that's it)
Edit:
Just ran it on the X3100...
It says 3,5 for Aero & Gaming... - that would make the X3100 faster than an NVidia 8400GS... -

A dude on the first page has the same GPU and notebook from sony also, he gets 5.5 / 5.1 ? Is WEI lowering the scores over time just because new hardware is coming out so the WEI is more "correct" to look at? -

Altough looking at yours. i cant see how the processor manages 5.6 when it should be around 5.1 and your ram around 5.0 unless your processors are Athlons x2 which they are not.
My 8510w scores this:
processor 4.9 ([email protected])
Ram 4.8
Graphics 5.9
Gaming 5.5
Hard Disk 5.4
where as my 8530w scores
processor 5.6 ([email protected])
ram 5.3
graphics 5.9
gaming 5.5
hard disk 5.7
Previous T61p Scores
Processor 5.4 ([email protected])
ram 5.1
Graphics 5.9
Gaming 5.5
Hard drive 5.6
So in theory to all 3 processors i owned. [email protected] would be 5.1 and [email protected] would be 5.3. So yours should be either 5.2 and 5.3
Sorry if yours really are true cos going on mine and alot others makes it sound a load of farse. -

Well, here you have a screen of mine. I had the same in Vista x86.
EDIT: Btw, i don't even care if it's 3.1, WEI is crap to benchmark with or even compare scores withAnd this is just a good scenario that shows it! I know how my CPU is compared to other, so don't worry that i think it's performing better just because WEI says so

Also intrestingly on the pic you shown. Vista allows you to score upto 7.9 rather than 5.9 why is that you reckon? -

9.0 is my new score
-
4.8 on my 8510w

And newer vista updates shows up to 7.9 also i believe?
So the score may be "correct" for me though. as i have 5.6/7.9 and T9600 has 5.6/5.9 which is a higher rating thanks to the highest score you could achieve is 5.9. -
My Clevo M860TU gets 5.6 in vista.
-
I get a 5.2 in wei
What's your Vista Experience score?
