    Well they got limited OC, they got something like presets. Doubt it has anything to do with the fact that its because of next gen but more because less RMA in warranty time = save money.

    To sell user a smaller power supply, a weaker cooling and to reduce the fan noise and overall weight and size.
    Same reasons why they make extra massive throttle vBIOS and call it Max-Q.

    Usually the board designer build for a chips full potential, but everything build around it is just too weak to really make actual use of it.
