    I am experiencing problem while my laptop startup, it has windows 7 and the error is #3F1 - Hard Disk 1 Error. I have some important videos of my little one, is there any way to recover the data? HP is sending me a new hard drive and recovery disc. Your help is appreciated

    put it in a USB caddy

    and connect it after the laptop has booted.

    it should still be seen.
