Hello,
I have an NC2400 and I think about to buy an 2510p motherboard and replace the motherboard in the NC2400. Is it possible to do it?
My basic motivation is that I hate the touchpads and I can get an 2510p mb for quite cheap. If the keyboard and other stuff would be compatible with new mb, I would do it.
Opinions?

The 2510P uses a LED-backlit LCD. The NC2400 uses CCFL. This *might* mean different video cabling. Not sure.
A 2510P is pretty cheap these days on ebay and if you don't want to use the touchpad, preferring the touchstyk, then can just disable it in the Synaptics systemtray icon. -

A 2510P goes for $200 on ebay. A 2530P for about $100-$150 more which gets you a webcam, better looks, a faster CPU, better battery life and cooler running temps, and sata interfaces for the optical and 1.8" drives. Either system can be overclocked with my [email protected] 2530P being twice faster than my previous [email protected] 2510P. -
