Sorry if this should be in the owner's lounge - mods, please move as appropriate.

Has anyone with an 2540P used an adapter to go from the DisplayPort to an HDMI connection on an HDTV?

If so, can you confirm that it work's OK and passes audio?

I have been looking to verify that HP included HDCP and audio on the DisplayPort, but have been unable to find anything about this.

    Thanks in advance!

I use such an adapter (no issues), but I did not have a chance to test audio.

Nice. That is the way Displayport is supposed to work. Kudos to HP. Add adapter, hook to TV, no issues. Nice and simple.
