    Hello,

    I'm having a problem with my 6540b.
The speed of the fan is at max all the time.
When i check the cpu temp i see that these are 20°/22° celsius idle, 38°/40° celsius on heavy use. You can feel the cold air it is blowing.
I'm not able to see the real fan speed (not detected in hwmonitor/speedfan).
I'm on the newest bios F.20.
It is a 6540b with a i5-430m with integrated video (no ati).
Can it be a broken system board of is it the fan?

    someone who can help me?

    thanks
