Hi,
There are 2 places to buy the HP from
1.
HP EliteBook 840 G1 Notebook PC - NEW! - HP EliteBook 800 Series - NEW!
2.
HP's Small & Medium Business Online Store
the 2nd option is much more expensive, but then they offer coupons and discounts. Its a customer headache if you ask me.
I am looking for SSD hard drive, 8mb ram, intel onboard graphics, win 7 and a good screen thats worth the price.
I will only use the computer in my office, never travel with it, and will watch movies, use microsoft office, and websurfing. I am buying the elitebook because of its durability.
I am ok with upgrading parts (ram, SSD, changing the OS) myself.
I am confused about the
* screen choices, FHD, ADA, HD, FHD+ SVA etc could really use a clear explanation on the differences
* processor i3 i5 i7. I only do websurfing and office work.
* whether I should buy a basic version and upgrade the ram and hard drive myself.
Thanks
I don't understand the complex range of choices and the different price points. What is the sweet spot? Thanks
