    I've installed like four different versions of the Nvidia drivers for my 8440p, and I cannot for the life of me get the Fn keyboard brightness controls to work.

    Running Win7 SP1 x64.

    Have you installed drivers for hotkey support or something like this? You have to install not only graphic drivers but also drivers for support of the "Fn + " combination.
