This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hey guys,

    I know there are tons of solutions on google about this exact issue but none seem to work for me.

    The 8470p with intel hd 4000 (no dGPU) seems to have lost all display brightness controls and even the brightness control in the display settings is not working.

    Please recommend some solution as currently the laptop is only usable if I enable night mode as it makes the display easier to look at.
