does anyone know if this port can accept msata drive? right above the wifi there seems to be WWAN connector with wires, maybe the possibility of doubling it as a msata port instead?

The maintenance manual makes no reference to the possibility while certain models of the 8470w CAN use an mSATA drive.

Besides that, thankfully, I tried putting in a 64Gb Samsung mSata drive and... nothing happened at all. I checked the bios and there were no obvious options so I came to the conclusion that it simply isn't supported. Damn shame.
