Well, I have a Thinkpad t440s, and have not been happy with that thing. Wifi issues, stability issues, etc. I'm quickly running out of patience with it and am thinking about selling it and getting something else. I'm a college student, and my summer workplace has HP pro/elite stuff all over the place, which seems to work just fine (though our Lenovo x120e/x130e/x131e machines have been a bit annoying). I have some 6530b's, and those seem quite solid and reliable.

So, with that in mind... have you guys found the 8470p to be at all glitchy, or is it a nice, reliable machine? I'm not looking for thin and light or tons of battery life (though I would probably buy an 100Wh battery) - I just want something that works reliably, will drive dual external displays, and that I can keep as my main machine throughout college (4-5 years). Not like I'd be loosing any performance going back a generation in this case anyway (just some power efficiency).
