    8530w battery latch does not spring back

    So, I got one of these on ebay at a great price, except that the battery latch doesn't spring back to lock the battery. And, they didn't send me a battery, so I don't know how well this holds the battery in place.

    I'm guessing the spring has disconnected from the latch, but it looks like you have to disassemble the ENTIRE laptop to fix it.

    Any ideas? Aside from tape.
