    Hello :)

Always enjoyed the site but throughly googled all my questions but as my laptop is new im a bit stuck :(

I got an 8760w with the 3000M Quadro card.

I was wondering if i can set up 3 displays, either the laptop screen as one or all external.

Is the GPU capable of this or can it work with the advanced Docking station you can buy??

    Any help appreciated...

Those would work, as in provide you with a picture on display.
They don't use your Quadro's processing power, as they are individual graphic adapters. You could do spreadsheets but no 3D CAD or gaming, perhaps not even full screen video (I'm not sure if new models are any better).

Expresscard-connected eGPU/ViDock could work but they aren't pretty or cheap yet :) More info here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/gaming-software-graphics-cards/418851-diy-egpu-experiences.html Just saying... if you really need it, it can be done :)

Unfortunately the 8760W has no iGPU. It only has a 3000M dGPU which can output to two displays maximum. A Dell M6600 has an iGPU + 3000M dGPU arrangement so can output to 3 displays as explained.

Best bet for your use is to purchase a Displaylink USB 3.0 HDMI adapter: AnandTech - DisplayLink Shows Off USB 3.0 Video Adapters or do a swap for a Dell M6600.
