So I have a HP 8760w with Windows 10 installed and everything works great...until I hook up an external monitor, then it causes my 'QWERT' keys to be nonfunctional (I have to use an external keyboard).

    Anyone hear of this before?

If I unplug the monitor it doesn't necessarily automatically fix the problem, keys won't work for a while and then randomly come back.

It's been about two months since the last time I tried hooking up the external monitor (same thing was happening) and my keyboard has been working fine...until the moment I attempting to hook up a second monitor again. So that is how I've confirmed that they are somehow related problems.
