Does anyone know if the mSATA port is SATA III ?
I heard Ivy Bridge only allows 2 SATA III ports which are occupied by the primary and secondary hard drives so wasn't sure if 8770w was special...

    Thanks.

I have the 8570w and the mSATA port is SATAII not III. I think the 8770w is the same since they both have the same chipset. I use it as a boot drive and system drive with a 256GB mSATA.
