is this a problem at the decoder board level in 8760w / 8770w ( and 8560w/8570w ) laptops?
The link contains .jpg files for comparison and a .txt file that describes the problem.
is this a problem at the decoder board level in 8760w / 8770w laptops? We took another 8560w for testing - there is the same problem. The competitor in the form of Dell M6700 seems to have a more honest color depth (or am I wrong?) ... There is also a comparison of DC2 with 8770w with an honest 8-bit display from the LG 26MB56HQ monitor - the LG monitor is somewhat smooth, while the DC2 is somehow " clumsy ... ". The problem is honest color depths .... Is this the reason for the decoder board, its STDP 8028 chip cleverly creates 10 bits using FRC 8 + 2? or even 6 + 2 + 2?
P.s. I suppose that the fault is caused by the imperfection of the software (firmware) in the decoder board with the STDP 8028 chip ... Or the chip itself is old that it is not capable of honestly showing 10 bits.
P.P.S. decoder board firmware version - 113
in the screenshots, the test picture was taken with a frozen frame from a 4K60 HDR video. The timecode is exactly 19 seconds. (if it is difficult to catch the moment - move 18.5 seconds and stop immediately) I attach the link below.

Please use a local high quality video file, depending on hardware, software etc, youtube video can look different, like use a video from here to compare (and try to use software with only software decode, no hardware acceleration that could generate artifatcs) :

I own both dreamcolor & premiercolor. But, from my SLB2 display on zbook 17 DC, I see following:
I think I know what could be the problem. Is there any chance you are on Windows 10 and if so, what version exactly? -
Try using windows 8.1 and see if it resolves it. It should
