    900p screen on 8460w

    The display quality of 900p screen on 8460w is not very satisfying. In fact, from what I learn about all the 900p screens in 14inch format, only three have gamut larger than 45%, and they are:
    CHIMEI N140O6-L02
    AUO B140RW01 V.0
    LG LP140WD1-TLA1(C1,D1,D2)
    The first one was used on Dell Studio 14 I believe, and received good reviews. Though only 60% gamut, this should be the best you can find.

    However, I just opened my 8460w display bazel to check the position of the connector, and I found HP used a weired RIGHT positioned panel with mounting holes different from others.

    The panel model is B140RW02 V.2 from AUO. It is not a good panel compared with B156HW01 series, and I do not think you can easily find a compatible substitute.
