Ordered a brand new zbook 14, received it a few days ago. Tried to turn it on for the 1st time over the holiday, and it won't power on, no fan noise, no disk noise (1TB HDD). We were stunned!!!
    Tried the following things.
    - Leave it charge for a few hours. The power supply felt warm, white LED charge light came on then off. Tried to power it on again, no go.
    - Took the battery out, pressed power button for 30 sec. Plugged in external power, tried to power it on without battery, no go.
    - Put the battery in (supposed to be fully charged), tried to turn it on with battery only, no go.
    What else can we try?
Is there any trick to turn on this laptop? Is it DOA? This is the most expensive laptop we ever bought. And we haven't had any brand new one that is DOA ever. Thank you for any advice!

Decided to ship it back. Although I purchased it with extended warranty, I really wish that I don't have to ever use it. Really don't want to own a unit that's problematic from day 1.
    BTW, it's the ZBook 14 G2 model.
    I guess that's it HP. Sigh ...
