    Hey guys,

I recently got me a Probook 440 G3 (their latest one with the 6th gen i7)

A couple of days into using it I figured the following three things with it.

    1. There is a weird bulge in the middle of the keyboard (which I am assuming is the place where the ribbon connector sits maybe?)
    2. The lighting is uneven in the keyboard, around the keys: f7, f8, f9, Y, U, I, H, and J.
    3. And the keyboard kinda heats up a bit. Even under normal levels of stress.
Is this normal? I have tried getting a warranty on this thing, but the region I live in doesn't give machine replacements. So I will have to get a new keyboard under warranty.

Is this a common thing with this series, or maybe HP itself. I am a bit worried if this is a design flaw and I have some idiot with a screw driver much around my laptop.

    Cheers!

I don't think any of that is normal. I would contact HP and have them send you another unit if I were you.

I have seen a few people reporting flex and bulging on the new G3's.
Have a look in the Studio G3 thread and you see a few mentioned.
