    Hi everyone,

    I've searched far and wide for a tutorial on how to replace the ATI Mobility Radeon X2600 in my Compaq 8510p with the NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M from the Compaq 8510w with no luck.

    I have gone as far as opening up the machine and swapping the cards but when I close it back up and boot up I just get a blank screen.... no boot, not even a chance to get into the BIOS. I even tried hooking up and external monitor - still with no success. Is there something I am missing? I realize that there is a chance the card I purchased (used from a reputable eBay seller) does not work to begin with, however I do not want to give up so easily.

    I searched through the forum with no results, however being new it's possible that I could have missed a previous thread with the info I need. Can someone point me in the right direction or give me a walk through?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced.
