    Compaq EVO N610c battery problem

    When the battery is inserted into the laptop on boot up I am getting a "Non disk system error" and I have to press ctrl+alt+del to get to windows, without the battery it will boot straight to windows, any ideas please?

    This is the *Compal* forum, not Compaq!

    Check out HP/Compaq sub-forum - I am sure an admin will move this thread there anyway.

    Apart of that - strange behaviour indeed, and that is really all that comes to my mind, sorry ...
