I'm interested in the HP Probook 6460b at the moment, but I see it doesn't come with HDMI. However, I'd like to know if I use a DP -> HDMI adaptor to connect it to my TV, will the sound come from my TV or laptop?

    Thanks!

If purchased with the AMD 6470M graphics card, AMD's HD audio for HDMI and DP++ will be included and the sound can be directed to your TV by choosing the AMD HD audio device. (Change back to internal sound device when not connected.) You will just need the DP++ > HDMI adaptor. If your graphics choice is the integrated Intel HD 3000 solution, Intel HD audio is built into the HM65 chipset, but I do not have any experience in doing the conversion with this set-up.

Ok, thank you. I was thinking of buying it with the integrated Intel HD 3000 though. Anyone knows?
