    DreamColor panel noise and vertical lines

    I have a ZBook 17 G2 notebook, and the DreamColor screen had a few bad pixels on it, so the tech just came over to replace it.

    I noticed this new DreamColor screen emits a high pitched noise, which I didn't notice on the original screen. I have read on this forum that some people's DreamColor screens have this high pitched noise.

    Another issue with this new DreamColor screen is when I make the screen all black. Then I can see faint vertical lines all across the screen. Has anyone seen this problem?

    I wonder if it's worth trying to have them replace the screen again, but who knows, the next one might also have these noise and vertical line problems.
