Hello,
Has anybody else with an Elitebook experienced problems with their power switch? My computer will not turn on even though the battery is fully charged. What happens is that the power light on the front of the laptop turns blue for a bit, then alternates blue/orange for a bit before turning off. At no time does the screen turn on.
1. This happens with and without the power adapter.
2. I have tried multiple HP power adapters, no luck.
3. I have tried multiple HP batteries, no luck.
4. HP support chat says to take out battery, hold down switch for at least 30 seconds, then connect power adapter and press button.
5. I have the latest BIOS.
#4 works *some of the time*.
I love the size, weight, and keyboard on this laptop, but if it won't even start... well, that's a huge issue. ;-)
Has anybody else experienced this type of problem?

RESOLVED, with excellent service.
I called HP to have this repaired on a Thursday, I received the box on Friday and sent it in. HP received it on Monday and now at 10AM on Tuesday I have it back, repaired with a new system board.
I am thoroughly impressed with the speed of this service. -
I guess it depends on problem and country (my experience is 1 week, still fast of course)
