    Hi all,

I'm fine with my purchase of this laptop but can't find a trackpad/touchpad driver which allows things like coasting and setting trackpad input delay after hitting a key etc. The usual things that Synaptics drivers provide... it seems there's only a settings screen for the TouchStyk (sp?) but everything else is left to Windows.

I've tried downloading generic Synaptics drivers and have been informed that there's "no need to install" those drivers. :/ I really miss coasting the most. Also, despite its size, the touchpad isn't the greatest in terms of fine movements of 1–3 pixels especially.

Has anyone found a solution to these issues?

At first, this is the wrong forum section (for Dell).
Next, did you try installing drivers from HP support website? I can see "HP Pointing Device Driver" and description says it provides functionality for multi-touch gestures.
