Hello! I recently received an 8570w with issues. I was told that it may have problems with the motherboard.
When I plug the charger (without battery) it powers on automatically: leds are on, cooler is on, display remains black (not even backlit). After a few seconds it stops and it starts again. I guess that if I leave it like that, it will repeat this over and over.
Does anyone encountered this issue? I also removed the bios battery (I thought it might help) but no success.

What happens if you try to plug it in with the main battery installed?

It seems that it was a problem with the charging circuit.

See my post to the thread "Replace the standard 8570w fhd screen with a 8560w Dreamcolor screen?".

It seems that my issues were caused by the video card. I replaced it and now it's fine.
