    Does HP implement white list mechanism in the BIOS?
    Is it possible for me to upgrade the MXM video card from Quadro K4000m to GeForce GTX-780m?

    8770w upgrade to GeForce GTX-780m,cooling system is a problem,
    I know DELL M6700 succeed upgrade to i7-3940XM+GTX-780m

    Indeed.

    8770w uses only 1 fan for both CPU and GPU, with the higher temperture from GTX-780, it does post an issue.
