    Hello,
Through the years I have owned a 8710w and a 8760w, both with the docking station. Problem is, on top of them I had to own another lighter laptop with better battery life for work on the go.
So, considering the current interest on eGPUs for laptops, and the sheer size of the HP Advanced Docking station (which would easily allow for a mobile GPU to be installed there, perhaps with better cooling than the laptop can provide), has there been any rumors about HP releasing a 17" elitebook/zbook with only the integrated GPU in a lighter and slimmer format, and allow for the installation of external Quadro GPUs through the docking stations?
That would definitely solve both issues permanently.
