    Hi All,
I am using HP EliteBook 8530w laptop with NVIDIA FX770 integrated.
The problem is that after connecting HDMI cable to LG LE5500 TV, the TV recognized bu the laotop but switching to the TV shows no pictutre.
The TV shows "No Signal" sign and a black screen.
Can you suggest what could be the problem ?
    Michael

    -try another HDMI cable
    -update your video driver
-try hooking up to a monitor via HDMI port with that same cable

I think I had to change some video settings in my 8510W when I was setting it up for use on the TV. Try configuring the video out in the Nvidia software.

It could also be your motherboard is faulty. I have one here that does the exact same thing. I've tried new known good GPU card but that does the same thing. ie. my other 8530w's work fine with the same HDD GPU card and cable etc swapped in. its a shame because it is a genuine quadcore motherboard and everything else works on it, just not HDMI. Might have to try and bake it lol.
