    Hi guys.....I have just recently purchased a HP 6730b with a matt look screen. I do wish to replace this with a glossy screen. I have seen a WSXGA+ screen but it has a higher resolution than my current one which at the moment is 1200 x 800. I have read that its best to stick with the current resolution in case you burn something out but on looking on the hp website and in the specs under graphics it says this;

    "39,1 cm (15.4") WXGA (1280 x 800 resolution) or 39,1 cm (15.4") WXGA BrightView (1280 x 800 resolution) or 39,1 cm (15.4") WSXGA+WVA (1680 x 1050 resolution)".

    Does this mean it could handle the higher res please?

    Kind Regards
    Tony
