Hey everyone, first time poster...I purchased and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit about 6 months ago and it caused me no problems what so ever, I remember everything installing correctly and the computer has run great ever since. Recently, I had to replace the hard drive, no big deal, reinstall windows and start over. Well, I cannot get the ATI Catalyst Control Center to work for the life of me. I installed the newest drivers, rebooted, and when I try to access CCC to change the color or whatever, it says "command line interface has stopped working". So I uninstall and reinstall, same thing. Then I searched and found an article on CCleaner, so I downloaded that, followed the directions of a person who was experiencing the same problem, and the next error I get is a CLI implementation something, I cannot remember exactly, but that error comes up when I try to access CCC, or any other Catalyst application. I've downloaded the latest drivers from AMD/ATI site and installed them, and I've downloaded the drivers from HP's site for this particular setup, both are failing to work for me. I've changed nothing in this computer except for the HD, so this is racking my brain that it will not work, I just don't get it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

lol, got the same problem, just gave up, reinstalled the driver and ditched the whole control center, I never used it anyway, so no loss (but I prefer when things work, and am curious of the cause). Apart from this little glitch, the 6735b here is doing great for it's age.

Well, I don't use it much either, I don't game on this computer...but I like to adjust the colors to a more vibrant setting, so they pop out...just my preference...but I'm like you, I prefer everything to work like it is supposed to. I just noticed I have a service pack downloading...might try a re-install after that and see what happens.
