    HP 6930p laptop not working

    i have a 6930p elite when i start it up it used to turn on and for about 15 or 20 minuts it would stay on then it would just shut down, now it just flashes the power light and just shuts down, i have another laptop exactly the same, i took that battery and it does the same i took the power adapter and tried that it does the same with the battery off i tested the adapter to see if one of them worked but they dont and both the battery and the adapter work good on the other good laptop . could some one please let me know what could possibly wrong the my laptop. thanks in advance

    Are fans running at all?
    Are fans running very high?
