    HP 745 G5 vs 840 G5

    Been looking at HP 745 G5 and 840 G5. Apparently the Ryzen ones score weaker on some tests but come with better video but worse screen displays.

    I can’t find any i7 840 G5 with discrete AMD video on the i7 models. I only see Radeon offered on custom HP models from HP with i5.

    The Ryzen can be had with a free dock and I guess I could buy a seperate monitor but I wish the displays were superior.

    Neither the 840 G5 nor 745 G5 seem optimal and I wish they were improved further.

    Any suggestions as to how I can find an i7 840 G5 with radeon and the UHD screen?

    I may wait to see if they do another product refresh but I can’t wait forever.
