Hi, So I just recently purchased this old dinosaur on ebay for $280, yeah I'm behind times and one mans trash is well my new trash! So I decided I'd try to play some Left for Dead , needless to say I turned everything it to 1680x1050 and prepared to play and seen the amazing speed of 35FPS on my screen and unplaybale frame rates :( , So what was my next option? Overclocking of course! So I floored her as hard as I could and see what my old dinosaur had left in her to my suprise she may have had some fight left in her :) I managed to overclock from default of 500/600 to an astonishing 742 / 846. I tried to go to 800 Core and finally crashed, as for the memory I have not found the max stable yet as 846 is 100% stable after hours of gaming I have not reached over 45C and wondering if anyone perhaps knows of the clock speed these memory chips are capable of. any help appreciated thanks!

    Stock 3DMARK06 Score 3300
    OC 3DMARK06 Score 4872

    Result

    Increase from 2 GPixel/S to 3.0 GPixel/S
    Increase from 19 GB/S to 27.1 GB/S

Sounds like a new graphics card too me, and the best news L4D now increased from 35 FPS to 60+ FPS!!!

Moral of my story, Don't give up on your old dinosaurs cause she may still have some roar left in her!
