    Hi
    I have a my spec is i7-2960XM, 32gb Mem, Quadro 5010m, 3x ssd's.

I'm running a video app, it runs great when the power adaptor is not plugged in as soon as i plug it in my performance drops, video playback slows down, rendering is slower, and more.

I've had my power adaptor replaced, and still the same. I installed windows 7 prof 64 bit seems to work ok even though I did not have much software to test it with. I performed a battery check on windows and its fine.

I don't really want HP to start taking it apart, yet becos i need to start making money with it, if I let them change my motherboard it could open a can of worms.

    Does anyone have any suggestions??

    would be greatly appreciated.

    M

I'm thinking of trying out a 90w adaptor i do have a 5010m graphics/dreamcolor/XM procs, ... if it works very well on the battery which is 87w then why not use a 90w adaptor?
