Hi guys, I've just bought an 8770W that came with a single stick of 8GB 1600 CL11 RAM and I was wondering what is the fastest memory this laptop will take? I have the 3840QM CPU.

If I buy 1866MHz RAM, will it run at it's rated spec or will it downclock to 1600?

By the way, are there any custom BIOSes or a key combination to unlock hidden BIOS features for this machine?

Is it true that the motherboard and the WLAN card are locked to each other? I have the N6300 Ultimate but I'd prefer a faster 802.11ac since I just can't get the Intel Gigabit LAN to work under Windows 10 on this notebook. I have a 500Mbit internet connection with a decent AC router so a faster WLAN card would completely negate my need for using LAN
